JFK Expert Says CIA Theory is Possible
It’s the conspiracy theory of all conspiracy theories, the one that got many people thinking along the lines of government coverups and shadow organizations in the first place. When President John F Kennedy was assassinated 50 years ago this week, the world was shocked in ways that it had never been shocked before.
Today, there are plenty of theories about who did it, who helped, who ordered it, and why it happened. Despite the Warren Commission‘s assessment that there was a lone gunner with simple motives, people have speculated that the investigation was botched or even intentionally mishandled.
Arguably the most prominent and credible JFK conspiracy theory buff, Dave Perry, believes that the one theory that still hasn’t been debunked also has a tie with the Warren Commission. If his assessment that the CIA may have been behind the assassination is correct, then it’s probably not a coincidence that Former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency Allen Dulles was on the Commission.
According to CNN:
“Supposedly Kennedy was fed up with the shenanigans that the CIA was pulling,” Perry said. “He found out the CIA was trying to kill (Cuban leader Fidel) Castro, which is a fact. So the argument is that the CIA felt that Kennedy was going to disband them. And as a result of that, they were the ones that ordered the killing of Kennedy.”
