Kerry Paints a Biblical Apocalypse Picture (then calls it climate change)
Secretary of State John Kerry said that the planet was on a collision course with drought, famine, flooding, and deadly storms, all things spoken of in Bible prophecy as indicative of the end times. Unfortunately, he wasn’t quoting the Book of Revelation. He was quoting the global warming playbook.
In a speech to students at an American cultural center in Jakarta, Indonesia, the politician stated his position as well as the Obama administration’s position as one for calling on smaller countries to do what they can to prevent climate change. He practically commanded the students to reach out to their political leaders and demand change. With America and China making up the bulk of the causes for anything resembling climate change, it made for a feeble argument to the small Asian country.
According to the Washington Post:
Kerry said scientists predicted that melting ice caps could push sea levels up by more than three feet by the end of the century, putting half of Jakarta underwater and displacing hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
