Genesis

There are many alleged codes in the Bible. Some are complex, requiring number-skip sequences of the letters of the Bible in Hebrew or other languages. Others are a little easier to see such as chiastic structure. There’s one that is either a very compelling prophecy of the Messiah or an extremely odd coincidence.

In chapter 5 of the Book of Genesis, Moses writes of the 10 generations from Adam to Noah. If you take the meaning of the names and say them in order, it appears to be a message:

  • Man (Adam)
  • Appointed (Seth)
  • Mortal (Enosh)
  • Sorrow (Keinan)
  • The Blessed God (Mahalalel)
  • Shall Come Down (Yared)
  • Teaching (Enoch)
  • His Death Shall Bring (M’tushelach)
  • The Despairing (Lamech)
  • Comfort/Rest (No’ach)

Coincidence? You decide. here’s a quick video detailing it:
