Reporters Fired Over Monsanto Story
This is actually pretty old news. I think I might have covered it in a blog a few years ago, but it’s about Monsanto so you’ve probably been left unaware. Everything that has to do with Monsanto seems to be stifled eventually, so if this turns out to be my last post, you’ll know what happened.
Monsanto is a company that defies logic. It’s huge, but very few people outside of the conspiracy theory world have anything other than a passing knowledge of them. They control such a huge portion of the US food industry, but somehow remain anonymous. They products account for an unbelievable number of food products at your grocery store, but you’ll never see their name mentioned on any of the labels.
Their the biggest company that wants nobody to know about them.
This video is a walk down nostalgia lane for me, but it may be new to some of you and points to the levels of corruption that Monsanto has been able to accumulate over the decades. They make powerful people cower and send the media running for stories about Kim Kardashian rather than things that we eat that might be causing harm to our bodies. They have been supported by every US President since G.H.W Bush and the beloved savior of the left, Barack Obama, has been their biggest advocate. It’s not his public support or words that show this but the fact that many of his top appointees have filled Monsanto’s executive ranks in the past.
Then, of course, there’s the Monsanto Protection Act, but that’s a whole other story.
There’s a reason we shop at Whole Foods.
